Less Grip For Bird Droppings

Ceramic Coating Karori

With kākā and tūī part of daily life next to Zealandia, a Karori car parked under the trees gets more than its share of droppings. A CQuartz ceramic coating gives the paint a slicker surface, so they wash off with less scrubbing.

Why Choose Prestige In Karori

Karori, Wellington

Protecting Paint Next To Zealandia

Bird droppings are acidic, and left in the sun they can etch into clear coat. On a leafy Karori street where branches overhang the kerb, that risk never really goes away.

A coating is not a force field. What it does is give droppings less to grip, so a gentle wash shifts them more easily.

  1. Applied At Your Karori Home

Kamran brings a fully professional mobile set-up to your home in Karori or to your workplace, whichever suits the day.

  2. Chosen For NZ Conditions

CQuartz is suited to the conditions New Zealand cars face, strong UV included, which is why it was chosen.

  3. More Than Five Years On Paint

Kamran has more than five years of hands-on detailing behind every coating he applies, and he applies every one himself.

What Your Paint Faces Here

With kākā and tūī overhead, start with bird droppings. Choose a condition to see what it does to unprotected paint, and what a coating changes.

Sharp light reflections across a glossy green bonnet

Strong UV On Clear Days

New Zealand sun is strong, and a clear Wellington day puts plenty of it onto the bonnet, roof and boot.

Unprotected Paint

Over time UV breaks down the clear coat. Colour fades, gloss goes flat and dark paint can start to look chalky, worst on the flat panels facing the sky.

With A Ceramic Layer

A ceramic layer adds a hard, glossy surface over the clear coat that helps the paint resist UV fade. CQuartz is suited to strong UV conditions like these.

A coating makes paint easier to care for. It is not scratch-proof and it does not replace careful washing.

The bro Kamran from prestige detailing bought my car back to life for a very reasonable price, 10/10 definitely recommend. Everything from communication to service was outstanding. Even left a small care package. Top man, cant thank him enough 😀😀

Absolutely amazing, we had some significant staining and pet hair in our car that was extremely hard to budge, this was no issue for Kamran! His attention to detail, with the interior clean of our car was worth its weight in gold and his pricing is nothing compared to the work he puts in and gets done. We are so pleased and will be using him again for sure!! Thanks so much Kamran!!!

Absolutely recommend! The car needed some TLC after getting destroyed by children and constant sports. My car looked brand new. Extremely convenient and worth the price.

I highly recommend this detailer enough! The attention to detail was beyond anything I expected. When I picked up my car, I honestly had to do a double take because it looked and felt like a completely different vehicle. Every inch was cleaned with incredible precision, from the smallest corners and crevices to the interior, exterior, and finishing touches. It was obvious that this wasn’t just another car being cleaned; it was treated as if it were the detailer’s own pride and joy. The level of care, patience, and craftsmanship was remarkable. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely takes pride in their work, and it clearly shows in the final result. If you’re looking for someone who delivers exceptional quality, treats your vehicle with respect, and pays attention to every tiny detail, I highly recommend this service. My car has never looked this clean, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

As tradies, we thought we understood ‘attention to detail.’ Then Kamran from Prestige Mobile Detailing spent 9.5 hours on our van and car… and redefined the term. We genuinely didn’t think the car could be brought back to life, it was well past ‘quick clean’ territory. Somehow, Kamran worked absolute magic. It now looks sparkly, refreshed, and almost new again. And the van? It looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Which is mildly embarrassing considering how long it’s been since it looked that good 😅 Kamran is hardworking, meticulous, and clearly a master of his craft. The level of care he puts into every detail is next-level. If you want your vehicle treated with the same pride and precision you’d expect from a true professional, this is your guy. Highly recommended. The team at Astral Electrical ⚡✨
