Inside A Cut And Polish
An honest look at the paint, then two machine stages, all at your home or workplace.
- A Look At Your Paint FirstKamran checks the condition of the paint and tells you plainly what a cut and polish will and will not fix.
- Machine Cutting StageA cutting compound works through the dull, oxidised top layer that hides the colour underneath.
- Machine Polishing StageA finer polish refines the surface and brings the depth and gloss back.
- Done At Your PlaceThe whole job happens at your home or workplace, anywhere across Wellington.
Why Choose Prestige In Ngaio
Ngaio, Wellington
Restoring Paint Near The Bush
Sap stains, dropping marks and a general dullness are common on cars parked beside bush. Machine polishing deals with much of it.
Not every mark will come out, and Kamran will tell you that up front. What can come out, he takes out at your place in Ngaio, without the car going anywhere.
Machine Work With Care
Kamran matches the cutting and polishing stages to how much your paint can take, with more than five years of hands-on detailing behind him.
A Lighter Polish As An Option
If the paint only needs a lift, a one-step polish can be added to the Full Detail instead. Kamran will tell you if that is enough.
No Car Wash Queue
Everything happens where the car is parked. You are not sitting in a waiting room or arranging a lift home.
Drag To See The Difference
Drag across the panel to see swirl marks and haze polished out of a black wing, then tell Kamran what your Ngaio paint looks like.
- Before
- Swirl marks and haze catching the light right across the wing.
- After
- The same wing after machine polishing, the reflection clear again.

The bro Kamran from prestige detailing bought my car back to life for a very reasonable price, 10/10 definitely recommend. Everything from communication to service was outstanding. Even left a small care package. Top man, cant thank him enough 😀😀

Absolutely amazing, we had some significant staining and pet hair in our car that was extremely hard to budge, this was no issue for Kamran! His attention to detail, with the interior clean of our car was worth its weight in gold and his pricing is nothing compared to the work he puts in and gets done. We are so pleased and will be using him again for sure!! Thanks so much Kamran!!!

Absolutely recommend! The car needed some TLC after getting destroyed by children and constant sports. My car looked brand new. Extremely convenient and worth the price.

I highly recommend this detailer enough! The attention to detail was beyond anything I expected. When I picked up my car, I honestly had to do a double take because it looked and felt like a completely different vehicle. Every inch was cleaned with incredible precision, from the smallest corners and crevices to the interior, exterior, and finishing touches. It was obvious that this wasn’t just another car being cleaned; it was treated as if it were the detailer’s own pride and joy. The level of care, patience, and craftsmanship was remarkable. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely takes pride in their work, and it clearly shows in the final result. If you’re looking for someone who delivers exceptional quality, treats your vehicle with respect, and pays attention to every tiny detail, I highly recommend this service. My car has never looked this clean, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

As tradies, we thought we understood ‘attention to detail.’ Then Kamran from Prestige Mobile Detailing spent 9.5 hours on our van and car… and redefined the term. We genuinely didn’t think the car could be brought back to life, it was well past ‘quick clean’ territory. Somehow, Kamran worked absolute magic. It now looks sparkly, refreshed, and almost new again. And the van? It looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Which is mildly embarrassing considering how long it’s been since it looked that good 😅 Kamran is hardworking, meticulous, and clearly a master of his craft. The level of care he puts into every detail is next-level. If you want your vehicle treated with the same pride and precision you’d expect from a true professional, this is your guy. Highly recommended. The team at Astral Electrical ⚡✨
